Following latest Scopely statement, how is Google supporting you in your claim ?
Did you manage anything ?
Feel free to post your testimony and also help others in supporting your claim.

Here's my experience so far.
I spent countless hours on the phone/chat/email these past days for almost nothing. Interactions are pretty much different from one associate to another one. Some would explain you it's not possible while some others would give you positive outcome, which then become different having another interaction.
So far, seems in standby.

Managed to get £121 back from google play store (4 x transactions). They've refused to refund any more/scopely have dug their heels in aswell. Have launched a charge back dispute with my bank for the remaining 19 x transactions totalling almost £940. Should have a resolution within 8 weeks (fingers crossed) www.moneysavingexpert.com/shopping/visa-mastercard-chargeback/

Unfortunately after spending so much time in different channels contacting them, they decided to refuse as per their policies although it is clearly written the below: Google does not give refunds for most Google Play purchases unless they are faulty or do not match their description on Google Play. I guess it's time to follow up with the bank then.

Just heard from my bank ref: £940 worth of chargebacks ** fingers crossed** I'm actually interested how you managed, I had a complicated conversation with my bank because the cases from where the chargeback stand don't compute with my reason (I believe language/generation barriers also impacted it) let me know how you managed to translate to your bank. Thanks !

Thanks ! Someone The game(STFC) stopped loading completely back at the beginning of Sept when they did a game patch update. I raised a support ticket with scopely - no reasonable response, even got banned from their STFC discord when trying to seek advice from a community manager. At that point, I complained to google play and they automatically refunded 4 x transactions as a good-will gesture. I went down the route of the game wasn't as advertised/fit for purpose - it literally froze at 75% Google commerce support provided me with an email, saying that the only way to get the other 19 x transactions back would be for my bank to initiate charge-backs. I sent this to my bank - luckily I spoke to a "youngish person" who had been in a similar situation. I had to give scopely time to remedy the complaint/bug. I had the misfortune of sending & receiving 70 emails to and from scopely support/my bank/google commerce support. As usual corresponding with a different scopely support advisor each time. I gave them 20 working days to refund - surprise surprise they didn't. They basically told me to stop emailing them - and if I asked for a refund again, they'd block my emails. That is when the charge-backs were initiated. When I read about the scopely class action lawsuit - I forwarded the pdf to my banks disputes department. My bank have been brilliant so far, although I am very dubious as I know how "slippery" scopely can be. I'll try and dig out some of the emails and post them to the players united discord in the next couple days - i'll need to go through and remove identifying information I hope that this helps - good luck

So you explained the situation and I believed they filled the "other" case ? I guess I'll need to translate my request in Czech them so that my bank would understand ahah Thanks !
